Faux Acetate Satin is a mid weight double faced polyester satin with a delustered satin finish on both sides, made to replicate the look and drape of acetate satin.
It has a soft handle and a very fluid drape, and is ideal for draped and twisted goddess gowns, bias cut slips and bridesmaids dresses. The satin finish runs on both sides, so it also works as its own lining. It has a slight mechanical stretch across the width, which helps it sit cleanly on the bias.
We recommend dry clean only for this fabric to preserve its original quality. We have provided detailed care instructions to hand wash, but keep in mind hand washing may change the handle of the fabric over time.

- We recommend dry cleaning to keep its original quality. It can also be hand washed, or machine washed cold on a gentle cycle (30°C max). No bleach.
- Press
- Medium (two dots) through a pressing cloth. Too hot an iron leaves shine on satins and dupions.

- Pre-wash polyester linings if the garment will be washed.
