Order a swatch of almost any fabric we sell, so you can see the true colour and feel the handle before you buy by the metre.

Why order a sample?
- See the true colour. Every screen shows colour a little differently, and silk can vary slightly from one dye batch to the next.
- Feel the handle, weight and sheen in your hands before you buy by the metre.
- Match it to your lining, thread, lace or a swatch from your client.
- Get the full specs. Lace and embroidered tulle samples come with the fabric's printed spec sheet.
Cut fabric can't be returned for a change of mind, so a sample is the easiest way to be sure.

Good to know
- Dye batches
- Colour can shift slightly between batches. If an exact match matters, order your metres soon after you approve the sample.
- Wash and shrink tests
- A 10 cm square is right for colour, sheen and handle, but too small to measure shrinkage. For a wash test, order a metre.
- Returns
- Samples are cut to order, so they can't be returned or refunded.

Questions
How long do samples take to arrive?
Tracked post in Australia usually takes 2 to 6 business days, express 1 to 3. International standard post varies.
Can I get a bigger piece?
Our minimum cut is 1 metre, then 10 cm steps after that. A metre is the best size for a wash test or a toile.
Can I order samples with my fabric?
Yes, add them to the same cart.
