Velvet is a distinctive, woven fabric with a short tufted pile that gives it a very soft feel. Previously made only from silk, it is now made from a variety of different fibres. Silk World velvets are made from rayon fibres woven onto a silk base. Perfectly soft and luxurious to touch.
