    • See the true colour. Screens show colour differently, and silk can vary slightly from one dye batch to the next.
    • Feel the handle and weight before you buy by the metre.
    • Match it to your lining, thread or other fabrics.
    • Lace and embroidered tulle samples come with the fabric's printed spec sheet.

Cut fabric can't be returned for a change of mind, so a sample is the easiest way to be sure. Swatches are about 10 × 10 cm. Order by 12pm Melbourne time on a weekday and we post them the same day.

    Description

This lightweight cotton features a particularly stiff handle and has a semi sheer finish. This cotton is perfect for daywear, dresses, blouses and children's clothing, and is popular for historical wear and costumes, like soft corsets and petticoats. It's also a great natural alternative to synthetic interfacing, adding soft structure to your cuffs, collars and garments.

We recommend gentle hand wash with cold water.

If hand feel and colour matching is important then please order a sample.

    Cotton Organdie

Beautiful product. Prompt dispatch from store. Shame that little care was given to cutting fabric on grain. Resulting in slightly less fabric than what was paid for.
