    Cut fabric can't be returned for a change of mind, so a sample is the easiest way to be sure. Swatches are about 10 × 10 cm. Order by 12pm Melbourne time on a weekday and we post them the same day.

    Description

    Our Liquid Satin is a medium weight polyester featuring an ultra smooth and glossy finish giving it a liquid like shimmer.

    This fabric has soft fall/handle making it ideal for evening wear, skirts, dresses, tops and bridal.

    Weight 140gsm.

    We recommend dry clean only for this fabric to preserve its original quality. We have provided detailed care instructions to hand wash, but keep in mind hand washing may change the handle of the fabric over time.

    If colour matching and hand feel is required then please order a sample.

    We recommend dry cleaning to keep its original quality. It can also be hand washed, or machine washed cold on a gentle cycle (30°C max). No bleach.
    Press
    Medium (two dots) through a pressing cloth. Too hot an iron leaves shine on satins and dupions.
    Good to know
    Pre-wash polyester linings if the garment will be washed.

    All fabric will be flat folded, unless you contact us to advise otherwise.

    Free freight over $200 (excl GST) on all Australian orders is with our standard delivery service.

    We use trusted couriers for our domestic shipping with two shipping options:

    Our cut off time for same day dispatch is 1pm, however, this also depends on the size of the parcel and locations.

    Please note: Only standard shipping can be sent to PO BOXES.
    Authority to leave without a signature (ATL) - all parcels are sent with ATL, please contact us if signature on arrival is required.

    Freight will be calculated as per the table stipulated below. Please note orders may take up to 3 to 7 business days to arrive.

    Excellent fabric

    I have bought 3 lengths of the liquid satin to date. Silk world have a easy website to navigate and postage of the fabric has always been prompt. This fabric is very easy to work with. It has structure without becoming rigid, the liquid treatment is fantastic. For the mother of the bride dress that I am making this works better than other versions that are more sculptural. The fabric is also very forgiving if the maker needs to unpick some stitches!
