    • See the true colour. Screens show colour differently, and silk can vary slightly from one dye batch to the next.
    • Feel the handle and weight before you buy by the metre.
    • Match it to your lining, thread or other fabrics.
    • Lace and embroidered tulle samples come with the fabric's printed spec sheet.

Cut fabric can't be returned for a change of mind, so a sample is the easiest way to be sure. Swatches are about 10 × 10 cm. Order by 12pm Melbourne time on a weekday and we post them the same day.

    • Do not wash
    • No bleach
    • No tumble dry
    • Iron medium, no steam
    Clean
Dry clean. Tell your cleaner it is silk and point out any marks.
    Press
Silk setting (two dots, 150°C max) on the reverse, through a pressing cloth. Press dry, with no steam, and don't spray to remove creases.
    Good to know
Crisp silks water-spot easily, so keep steam and water drops off. Store rolled: sharp folds can crack the fibre over time.
