This mid weight dobby cloth features satin stripes running the length of the fabric, each one finished with a soft fringe of cut yarn ends. The stripes carry a gentle sheen against a matte ground, giving the look of a burnout or devoré without any of the chemical treatment those fabrics require.
The result is a much softer, more natural handle than a true burnout, with a heavy fluid drape. It is ideal for flowing bridal gowns, and equally at home in skirts, kurtas, caftans, scarves and blouses.
We recommend dry clean only for this fabric.
