    Established over 30 years ago, Silk World is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of bulk fabric. Our Melbourne showroom is located a short distance from the CBD and services both wholesale and retail customers. We have very low minimums - 5 metres for wholesale and 1 metre for retail - making it even easier for you to purchase your fabric in Melbourne.


    Silk World is one of the largest bridal fabric stores in Melbourne. We stock an assortment of fabrics including silk, lace and tulle, as well as beaded and lace trims and motifs for that finishing touch. If you’re looking for bridal inspiration, we have a curated indent collection available for viewing in our Melbourne showroom. We also create bespoke designs, and work closely with our wholesale clients. Our indent collection is constantly updating - enquire about how we can order fabrics that are designed just for you.

    We’re not just all about bridal fabrics, either. Our fabric shop includes other fabrics and fibres such as cotton, polyester, viscose, and much more.

    Visit Silk World Melbourne at our new location at Suite 1, 85-87 Charles Street, Kew, VIC 3101. We’re open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4:30pm.
